Interview with Expat
This experience opened up my different perspectives on cultures. I have earned a lot more respect and compassion for other cultures and people. Everyone has different rituals, relationships, and restrictions. (TED, 2015) Having this interview was really nice and I learned a lot of things from her about Bulgaria.
Spain travel plan
I traveled to Spain, Barcelona from the 17-21 of February between the 18 to 20 February I visited 22 places including, food and drinks, museum’s, shopping centers, attractions, and cultural places. The 18th I visited a local flea market, Els Encants. This place is not known by tourists and is very much a local institution. On three floors, 500 stands sell used things of all kinds. This centuries-old market houses Barcelona's largest second-hand department store, where you can browse for hours. There are used books, chandeliers from the renowned Catalan Art Nouveau style, cast iron fireplaces, Chinese vases, antiques, apparel, bargains, and furniture. As I walked through the stands I talked to the people who work there everyone had unique experiences and things they are selling. Some people who worked their weren’t from Spain but are locals to Barcelona. Conclusion: These people’s rituals are having their stands in the markets 3 days a week. Some had different relationships with people from different countries and others were locals to only Barcelona. I had some restrictions with communicating since most people only spoke Spanish and didn’t understand English. (TED, 2015)
